Who We Need:
Arootah is actively seeking a Director of Corporate Wellness who can help improve people's well-being in corporate business environments, as well as public community centers. The Director will be creating, and monitoring programs intended to improve the physical and mental health of workers and their families, using preventive means that provide measurable results.
The Director of Corporate Wellness is a critical leadership role, reporting to the CEO and the COO of Arootah. We are seeking a proactive, self-starter to lead our Corporate Wellness initiatives and programs to further the Arootah mission.

What You’ll Do:- Develop robust, executable corporate wellness program that showcases the Arootah mission
- Create, monitor, and evaluate CW programs to ensure participation by client’s and their employees
- Provide information promoting health and disease prevention
- Work with internal and external resources to provide actionable corporate wellness programs for B2B and B2C clientele combining Arootah’s health and wellness services.
- Ability to thrive and excel in a start-up company environment
- Use Arootah tools to effectively support clients on their wellness journey
- Incorporate and contribute to all Arootah’s Corporate Wellness services including:
- Education: webinars and workshops
- Fitness Classes
- Health Coaching
- Specialty Health Coaching
- Renewal/Stress Management
- Specialty Programs
- Corporate Retreats
Who You Are:- Proactive self-starter, with a strong work ethic and integrity
- Enthusiastic regarding the links between wellness and employer/employee health
- Awareness to ensure inclusion of employee health disparities when executing programs
- Flexible and agile with the ability to adjust programs as needed to meet client needs
- Leader that can supervise, manage and motivate Arootah’s corporate wellness employees and contractors (fitness instructors, health coaches, and specialty health coaches)
- Ethical and honest to maintain legal adherence to client confidentiality as it relates to scope of practice and all documents related to interaction with Arootah and clients
- Business acumen to participate and lead marketing and sales efforts for CW programming including social media outreach, webinars, and seminars
- Ability to oversee fitness and yoga program development
- Focused with the ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful situations
- Culturally competent to work with diverse clients and employees
- Adaptive with the ability to learn and teach Arootah tools
Qualifications and Requirements:- BA, in Exercise Science, Nutrition, and/or Health, or related field; MS a plus
- Demonstrated experience with the successful development, execution, and management of Corporate Wellness programs
- Corporate Wellness experience to the financial services industry; alternative investments a plus
- Corporate Wellness experience: 5+ years; Sales experience: 3+ years
- Certified/licensed nutritionists and or dietician
- Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach: NBHWC, NANP; ICF Certified Coach a plus
- Diversity and Inclusion Training
- Experience with strategy and analysis regarding program performance
- Administrative and or legal experience
- Has supervised staff charged with various program implementation
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful situations.
- Must be flexible and adaptive with ability to work with a team of 20+ with varied inputs, changes, and directions
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial, with a growth mind-set
- Strong critical thinking skills, analytical
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can clearly communicate with clients and their employees
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

$70,000 - $150,000 a year
The expected base pay range for this position is $70,000 - $150,000 base salary + performance-based incentives + participation in our Revenue Sharing & Equity Plan (RSEP)—a unique wealth-building program that offers revenue-sharing distributions and equity participation, aligning incentives and enabling all employees to share in the company’s ongoing success and potential future liquidity events.
