The Analytics Manager leads a team of analysts responsible for delivering strategic insights across digital, marketing, and operational domains. This role bridges business strategy and data science, translating complex data into actionable solutions that drive performance and innovation.
Role Responsibilities (% of time spent)
Team Development (30%)
- Mentor and coach analysts to elevate technical and storytelling capabilities.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in analytics tools and methods.
Strategic Leadership (20%)
- Direct a portfolio of analytics projects aligned with business goals.
- Translate business needs into analytical frameworks and project plans.
- Provide expert consulting to stakeholders across departments.
Data Analysis & Reporting (20%)
- Oversee the design and execution of advanced analyses using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and relevance across all reporting outputs.
- Lead the development of dashboards, visualizations, and presentations for senior leadership.
Innovation & Experimentation (20%)
- Champion experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Support initiatives such as Synthetic Testing Users (STU) and multivariate testing to optimize user experience and campaign performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
- Partner with teams in Marketing, CXD, Engineering, and Finance to deliver integrated insights.
- Coordinate cross-divisional data projects and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage directly/indirectly analytics projects and teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master’s or PhD preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, Adobe Analytics, and cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
- Communication Skills: 3+ years of experience building and presenting executive level PowerPoint presentations.
- Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital and marketing principles and strategies (e.g., A/B, multivariate, multi-armed bandit, STU)
