What You'll Do
We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Assistant Director to join our individual solutions team. In this key role, you'll drive innovation in how we support plan participants during major life events such as retirement, job change, or financial transitions – by helping to retain assets and deliver tailored financial solutions. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to enhance retention strategies, improve participant experiences, and contribute to the overall growth of our business.
- Provide visionary leadership as a leader of leaders, overseeing all aspects of direct-to-consumer retirement retention solutions
- Define, implement, and achieve strategic asset retention goals
- Leverage data and analytics to shape strategic direction, measure outcome, and foster accountability across teams
- Monitor, enhance, and enforce a quality assurance program to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency
- Collaborate on sale enablement initiatives to drive engagement, increase conversions, and elevate the client experience
- Proactively manage and mitigate risk by ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

Who You Are
- 8+ years of related experience on a sales team demonstrated through work experience, education, or military training (Strong preference for qualified plan retirement background).
- Previous leadership experience required with sound operational and supervisory judgment
- Must have excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and oral and written communication skills.
- Critical to possess personal accountability and ability to motivate and influence others.
- Effective with time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to holding yourself and others to a high degree of integrity, building and sustaining strong partnerships with leadership, peers and colleagues.
- Some travel may be required (10%).
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
- Adaptable to change and able to work independently with limited information and direction.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, competition within the industry, along with company product knowledge.
Securities exams and IAR appointment include (Licenses required within 6 months with a strong preference for fully licensed):
- Series 7, Series 66 (or equivalent), Series 24 (or equivalent), as required by applicable state law and current licensing policy.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$123000 - $167000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
