Job Description
The Senior Engineer of Data Masking’s primarily role is to provide technical expertise for the enterprise-wide implementation, support, and maintenance of PHI/PII data masking. They will also provide insight and practical knowledge towards the development of new environment management standards and best practices as we move towards a more cloud centric and ephemeral approach to our environments. Lastly, this resource will work with a small team of developers to enhance our AWS dashboard capabilities to develop self service functions and integrate with other tools/apis across the enterprise.
*Please note this position will be hybrid. The position can be based in one of the following locations; Dallas TX, Mason Ohio, Secaucus NJ, Lenexa KS, Tampa FL, Dallas TX, Schaumburg IL
Pay Range: $120 - $140 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain data masking tools as an enterprise solution.
- Work with application teams to plan and deliver new data masking implementations.
- Improve efficiency by developing SOPs for support and maintenance of existing data masking implementations.
- Provide technical training around data masking to resources with varying levels of expertise.
- Mentor a small team of developers in building AWS dashboards capable of integrating with other tools / APIs.
- Work with the architecture team to deliver cost effective solutions for non-prod environments (test, UAT, dev, performance).
- Document environments and underlying components to appropriate standards.
- Work with DevSecOps to build automated deployment solutions in alignment with data masking requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives keeping abreast of industry trends, implementing best practices, evaluating new tools, building automation, and upgrading underlying technologies.
- Work with Cloud Ops and architecture to drive ephemeral, cloud-based solutions where possible.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience needed.
Required Work Experience:
- 3 or more years managing data masking tools and delivering new implementations (Delphix, Protegrity, etc)
- 3 or more years managing / developing public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
- 3 or more years hands-on experience with automation, orchestration, and system configuration tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform)
Preferred Work Experience:
- 2 or more years in SRE / DevSecOps is a plus.
- 2 or more years architecting / building RESTful APIs is a plus
