What you’ll be doing...

Join the Digital Marketing & Base Management organization focused on business intelligence, strategic targeting, and opportunity conversion optimization for Verizon (VZ). The Base Management team enables information that will guide customer personalization strategies and decision-making across all lines of business. Ensuring the right opportunities are prioritized and presented to the right customer at the right time, optimized for revenue growth and preservation. Business Intelligence (BI) resources work to cultivate a semantic layer, bringing together different data elements from multiple sources.

Responsibilities include:

Designing and creating fact tables, dashboards, and reporting.
Leading the collection and aggregation of corporate-relevant datasets to support BI enablement.
Driving standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement of data management.
Leveraging customer engagement data to measure the performance of marketing strategies.
Establishing automated controls to notify process owners when their key business metrics change.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience with systems, master data, and data architecture to pull data from numerous tables from multiple sources to be merged and analyzed.
Experience creating and maintaining Teradata and/or BigQuery SQL.
Experience with one or more reporting/analytics tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
Experience working with ETL utilities (Fastload, Multiload, BTEQ, and TPump).
Knowledge of office productivity software (G Suite or Office 365, or JIRA).

Even better if you have:

Master’s degree.
Ability to work independently and own end-to-end responsibilities for project execution.
Curious, analytical mind with the ability to identify and assess key business risks and controls.
Experience working in cross-functional CRM programs.
Experience working on analytical projects in the telecom domain.
Data Warehouse knowledge and experience with automation scripting.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $120,500.00 - $231,000.00.The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $132,500.00 - $231,000.00.
