What You’ll Be Doing
As a Crisis Outreach Counselor, you’ll deliver trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services focused on stabilization, assessment, and care coordination. You’ll serve as a front-line responder for youth and families in crisis and play a vital role in supporting transitions to longer-term care when needed.

- Delivering both individual and group services as clinically appropriate.
- Ensuring timely, accurate documentation and adherence to agency standards.
- Coordinating follow-up support to promote client recovery and continuity of care.
This is a mobile outreach role, meaning much of your work takes place in homes, hospitals, schools, or other community settings throughout Whatcom County.
Who You’ll Be Working With
You’ll join a responsive, multidisciplinary team dedicated to stabilizing youth and families through culturally informed, strengths-based interventions. CYFCT emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and community collaboration to meet urgent behavioral health needs and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations or out-of-home placements.
