We’re looking for a Technical Writer to turn complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content. You’ll create advanced documentation, visuals, and diagrams, collaborate through Git-based workflows, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, solve challenging problems, and even lead projects that shape how knowledge is shared.
Responsibilities:
Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
Creates content at an advanced level.
Demonstrates proficiency in using technical writing tools (e.g., Markdown or LaTeX).
Create and edits graphics or diagrams using software like Adobe Illustrator or Microsoft Visio.
Demonstrate knowledge of version control systems like Git, for collaborative writing projects.
Understands and explains complex technical concepts within the domain.
Researches and synthesizes information from multiple sources to develop in-depth knowledge.
Understands relevant regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements within the domain.
Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
May lead functional teams or projects
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
Microsoft Office, Visio, GIT, BPMN experience
Demonstrated aptitude for computer operations
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle the cyclical nature of the industry and fast paced work environment.
Has the ability to manage multiple projects.
Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in business processes and documentation
Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
Knowledge about ITSM processes such as change management, incident management, problem management, asset management, release management, etc is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent experience
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $135,000 - $155,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
