Summary:
Senior Manager, Digital Capabilities Manager, SAP Technical Services is responsible for driving and governing all BUILD and RUN activities for OpenText Output Management, OpenText IXOS archiving solutions, AutoSys, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM, including application update & upgrades, support operations and projects that utilize the tools. This role interacts with cross-functional teams and leads to expanding knowledge and expertise, ensure seamless system integration, system optimization and alignment with defined internal processes to maintain high standards and compliance, implement relevant features and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and integration of OpenText Output Management, OpenText IXOS archiving solutions, AutoSys, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.
Define and implement strategies for system enhancement and future scalability.
Manage internal projects including defining project scope, planning, executing, and overseeing implementation and ensuring timely completion within budget.
Collaborate effectively with business units, cross-functional IT teams, service providers and vendors to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and data security policies.
Ensure the accuracy of configurations and conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards in processes.
Lead development/project initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Identify opportunities for automation and AI adaptation to further optimize and improve efficiency.
Ensure system availability, optimal performance, stability and scalability.
Responsible for daily operations and issues related to projects and upgrade, lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for system issues.
Oversee software updates and enhancements to maintain system stability.
Provide guidance to teams on best practices and system usage.
Drive improvements in system monitoring, change management, and application lifecycle management.
Mitigate any production issues by using automated monitoring and ticketing.
Manage Business Continuity escalation and Disaster Recovery planning for the SAP and SAP connecting systems.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aid and Work Instructions for OpenText Output Management, OpenText IXOS archiving solutions, AutoSys, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.
Stay up-to-date with product roadmaps and the latest technology for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent work experience in Information Technology.
Exceptional knowledge of Cloud Platforms in AWS with a minimum of 3+ years is preferred.
Knowledge of SAP Business Platform Technology, Google, and Azure cloud experience is a plus.
Relevant work experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure.
Experience with hybrid infrastructure systems.
Background in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology is a plus.
