Summary:
This role acts as the department subject matter expert for SAP customer master data and determination of government customer Class of Trade assignment. The position also provides oversight in the administration of government contracts in Model N and guidance for customer master data consideration in support of special projects.

Responsibilities:

Acts as department subject matter expert for SAP customer master data and determination of government customer Class of Trade assignment.
Reviews government customer account creation and maintenance activities across Customer Operations.
Ensures consistency and validation of customer information.
Provides oversight and guidance to the Government Customer Operations Analysts.
Researches and resolves customer account issues and works frequently with Order to Cash Ops, Government Contract Operations, and the other Pricing & Customer Operation functions.
Interfaces with systems support and IT to address operational issues with SAP and Model N.
Develops, maintains and analyzes Customer Operations performance metrics.
Tests and supports SAP and Model N system and special projects as required.
Evaluates business processes and suggests improvements for compliance and productivity.
Acts as a backup for the Senior Manager, Government Customer Operations.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in Business, Finance, or related field.
A minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process and control enhancements and proven managerial experiences are required.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work well across a matrix team are required.
A broad knowledge of Pricing & Reimbursement functions and customer master data is required.
Has acquired effective communication skills and has dealt with both internal and external customers while obtaining the know-how to prompt them for complete/accurate information.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office. Exposure to Model N or a similar system is preferred.
Excellent skills in database management programs (such as Access, Excel or other) are preferred.
Proven ability to work with remote business partners.
Pharmaceutical industry and relevant functionalexperience is preferred.
