Broadridge is hiring a Professional Services Senior Director to join Broadridge’s Consulting business. In this role you will work with our leaders in Broadridge Consulting to grow Broadridge’s consulting capability and associated revenue through consulting services. This position reports to the Head of Broadridge Consulting.
We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented Senior Director to lead our Relationship Management and Business Development efforts. This senior leadership role will be pivotal in driving strategic growth by cultivating and expanding key partnerships, nurturing a portfolio of top-tier financial services clients, and driving new revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate has a deep client relationships and an understanding of the post trade financial services ecosystem, a proven track record of collaborative sales, with a propensity for working within a business development team.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
Business Development
- Work with practice leaders, account managers and sales associates to develop consulting value propositions / offerings
- Lead and support the management of the entire life cycle of a consulting relationships and business expansion processes with clients. Work with practice leaders to develop pursuits (through working with existing consulting clients and through sales and account management teams), support client pitches, launch projects
- Identify, prospect, and close complex, deals by leveraging extensive networking and relationship-building skills with new and existing clients.
- Negotiate and finalize complex commercial agreements, ensuring maximum value for both the client and the company.
Executive Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary executive liaison for a portfolio of top-tier, strategic clients, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Deliver thought leadership and industry insights to client executives, positioning the company as a strategic partner in their financial transformation.
- Drive client retention and expansion by aligning the company's capabilities with clients' evolving business goals.
Leadership and Execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, legal, marketing, and teams to ensure seamless service delivery and to inform product strategy based on client needs.
- Own and manage internal processes, including pipeline management, contract negotiations, and compliance oversight.
Market and Industry Expertise
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and client strategy sessions, acting as a credible and knowledgeable spokesperson.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to inform strategy, forecast revenue, and articulate cost/benefit analyses.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic business development and relationship management within the financial services and/or fintech industry.
- Proven track record of success negotiating and closing complex deals with large financial institutions and enterprise clients.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team.
- Deep expertise in financial technology platforms and a thorough understanding of financial services products (e.g., payments, banking, wealth management).
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, and sometimes ambiguous, startup-like environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
Salary range $175,000.00- $200,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
