Compass Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to oversee operations at our Residential Treatment Facility in Edmonds, WA. In this position, you’ll provide clinical and administrative leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring excellence in client care, regulatory compliance, and program operations.

Our Residential Treatment Facility serves individuals experiencing acute behavioral health challenges, offering round-the-clock support in a structured, trauma-informed environment. Staffed by dedicated professionals, the facility provides stabilization, therapeutic engagement, and transition support for clients as they begin their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
As the Program Manager, you will:
Lead all aspects of day-to-day facility operations, including staff scheduling, supervision, training, admissions, discharges, and facility maintenance.
Ensure 24/7 program coverage and operational excellence through thoughtful staffing and oversight.
Provide clinical supervision, staff evaluations, and ongoing performance management.
Monitor and manage program budget, billing practices, and compliance with quality standards and payer requirements.
Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical protocols and ensure documentation meets internal and external standards.
Represent Compass Health in community meetings and foster collaboration with local providers, courts, hospitals, and systems partners.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, providing after-hours crisis support and staff consultation as needed.
Step in to provide direct clinical services and assessments when appropriate.
Champion culturally responsive and evidence-based practices throughout the program.
Requirements
Master’s degree (MA/MS/MSW) in a behavioral health-related field.
Licensed or license-eligible in Washington State (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred).
Meets Mental Health Professional (MHP) criteria per WAC standards.
At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience in behavioral health; 4+ years strongly preferred.
Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handler’s Permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Must apply for Agency Affiliated Counselor status upon hire if not already credentialed.
Valid WA State Driver’s License, personal vehicle, and insurance (if applicable).
