About the Role
As Building Manager, you’ll be the point person for the operational health of a high-visibility facility, responsible for everything from janitorial oversight and vendor coordination to safety compliance and key system management. This role bridges technical infrastructure needs with real-time support for clinical staff, visitors, and contractors alike.
You’ll work closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure the building remains clean, compliant, and fully functional. The right candidate will bring both a warm, helpful demeanor and the problem-solving grit to handle complex building operations with confidence.

Responsibilities
- Oversee facility appearance and maintenance, including janitorial contracts and building system audits.
- Manage access control systems, key distribution, and vendor coordination.
- Create and maintain the building’s Operational and Maintenance Plan, aligned with LEED and Clean Buildings Act standards.
- Conduct routine building inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety codes.
- Develop inventory systems and support emergency and workplace safety protocols.
- Respond to internal staff needs and ensure prompt resolution of maintenance requests.
- Serve as a liaison for contractors, vendors, and building partners.
- Collaborate with security providers and clinical staff on safety planning and incident response as needed.
- Lead safety-related meetings and communicate policies to all building users.
Who You’ll Work With
The Marc Healing Center is a newly established, high-impact facility supporting Compass Health’s broad network of behavioral health services. You'll work cross-functionally with clinical teams, facilities leadership, external vendors, and program managers to ensure the building operates safely, sustainably, and smoothly—24/7.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial Property Management for buildings over 50,000 sq. ft.
- Familiarity with IBC, NFPA, and building codes.
- Experience with security contractors and access control systems (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CMMS systems, and Excel-based inventory tracking.
- Demonstrated leadership and vendor negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use ladders, and conduct physical building inspections.
- Must be bondable and able to pass a pre-employment background check.
